Yew bowls in the making
Here’s some photo’s of my latest rough turning session. I like to process all my timber during the winter months, so there is little risk of cracking. The top image shows my first batch of blanks, cut out and ready for mounting on the lathe. At last I’ve got some yew, which is completely free from shakes! Although not huge pieces, they really are top quality.
